Beth El Cemetery

About This Cemetery

Beth El Cemetery is affiliated with the Beth El Congregation, one of the historic Jewish congregations of Waterbury. The cemetery reflects the Conservative Jewish tradition and serves families connected to the congregation. Like many of the cemeteries along Stillson Road, it was established as the Jewish community of Waterbury grew in the early twentieth century, providing a dedicated burial ground for congregation members and their families. The cemetery is kept locked to protect the grounds; visitors should contact the Jewish Cemetery Association of Greater Waterbury to arrange access.

Note: Cemetery is locked; key access required. Please contact us to arrange a visit.
